Cranfield School of Management is to undertake an “Entrepreneurial Resilience” study with clients of My Incubator.
My Incubator is a business incubation network designed to support entrepreneurs and create successful innovative businesses and has teamed up with Cranfield School of Management to assess the performance of entrepreneurs.
The study will work with current My Incubator clients and engage them in a new research project. This projects aims to gain a better understanding of entrepreneurship and business start-ups. This study will take place intermittently throughout the coming months whilst Cranfield conducts studies on My Incubator clients and their businesses.
My Incubator is new, unique service that helps pre-start businesses by offering them both workspace and business advice free for 3 months*. This service is the result of the changing economy and is dedicated to providing entrepreneurs with the facilities and support to grow their business. Clients also have access to events and networking, all within a creative and dynamic environment.
Greg Thomas, Innovation Manager at My Incubator, says, “The contribution that My Incubator and its clients are making to this study is a great step towards understanding new businesses and start-ups so that services such as My Incubator and Cranfield School of Management can better understand, and support them to grow and prosper”.
My Incubator has a variety of clients with business sectors ranging from PR, innovative sports equipment and training to web design and IT. Several entrepreneurs are now involved in the programme and are looking forward to reaping the benefits of these assessments.
This new study will also be providing entrepreneurs with tools that will allow them to reflect on their performance and resilience. They will also be invited to Cranfield VentureDay on Thursday 10 May 2012, when Cranfield's extended network of entrepreneurs, investors, and advisors reunite at the Cranfield campus."
